Step down shower

This shower was a full    two steps down, almost 16" deep.

 We raised the floor so that it was only a 4" step down.
The window, you can just see to the right of the picture, was rusted so it was replaced.

Also added were a new double sink lavatory and base cabinets, new toilet, new mirrors, lights, and exhaust fan.  New shower valve, lavatory faucets and of course  towel bars.

The floor tile was replaced with the same tile as the shower walls.
Notice the square drain in the center of the shower.

The old drain was at the end,  ( where a bath tub drain is usually located ).
We moved the drain to the center, creating less of a slope to the floor.

Now the home owners can easily step into the shower without feeling like they will   fall   into a hole.
